6 month old Ezra

Praise the LORD for the past six months. And that we are here today, six months later since Ezra's birth. I had a friend tell me that every six months of her children's first couple years she felt like she was becoming more and more like a normal human being again. There is truth in that statement. But really, it's been fine.  An adjustment, sure. But it hasn't been nearly as hard or difficult as I previously imagined it would be with a wee babe. Ezra is also a super easy baby. I've had moments I thought I would lose my mind from his inconsolable crying, or not sleeping, or whatever the case may have been, but in retrospect, not bad at all. In fact, I would do it all again. I would. Pregnancy, labor/delivery, newborn, etc.

So, all within the past six weeks or so, Ezra has hit some big milestones: sleeping through the night, sitting up on his own, eating solid foods, and cut his first tooth (bottom left) within the past week. He is a sweet sweet baby. He has such a pleasant and dear personality so far. He makes all kinds of squawks, chirps, grunts and babbles. He means business when it comes time to chew on something. He smiles bashfully and joyfully at most people. His dimples melt me. He is the happiest sweetest cuddly baby first thing in the morning and when he wakes up from most of his naps. He lights up when he sees his Abi, Isaac or Aniyah. He loves to jump up and down in the exersaucer. He is doing great with pulling himself up to his hands and knees so I'm thinking crawling is going to happen soon! He loves to be tossed into the air, he loves to play peek-a-boo, loves to be kissed all over his face. He really is just so delightful!
